The UK Technology Innovation & Growth Awards are open to all companies that have been trading in the UK for at least 12 months (by the closing entry deadline of Wednesday 19 December 2007). Companies that are nominated by third parties are also eligible.
The awards are open to all eligible products and services, as defined in the individual category criteria, which were first made available in the UK between 01/01/2007 and 31/12/2007.
The final closing date for entries to the Awards is Wednesday 19 December 2007 (5pm GMT). No entries will be accepted after this date.
Entries and supporting collateral may be submitted online via the awards web site.
No entrance fee is payable.
Multiple entries are permitted to a single category or to multiple categories. There is no maximum number of entries. All entries will be judged separately.
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your entry.
Entries will be judged on the basis of the information provided to the independent panel of judges on the entry form and on additional supporting materials where permitted. The judges reserve the right to re-categorise entries if they think another category would be more suitable. However, they cannot be expected to routinely re-categorise incorrectly entered projects. Details of the judging panel meetings will not be disclosed.
All judges are required to declare any business interest they have in any company nominated for, or entering, an award. If a conflict of interests is deemed sufficient by the rest of the judging panel, the interested party will be made exempt from discussing or voting on that award.
Entries will be treated as strictly confidential. Only details of the award finalists and winners will be published. Entrants are obliged to mark any confidential information included in their submission e.g. financial results, as “Not for publication”.
The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The finalists will be notified, and winners will be announced at The UK Technology Innovation & Growth Awards 2008 dinner at the Hilton London Metropole on Tuesday 18th March 2008. Short-listed companies are required to send a representative to attend the awards dinner and presentation.
